A highly reputable Australian organisation have asked Morgan McKinley to source an outstanding, qualified Management Accountant to join their commercial finance division.
Job Description:
Responsibilities involved are:
- Prepare and distribute monthly Management Reporting packs to designated divisions
- Carry out variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of budget papers to Senior Finance
- Perform quality analysis on budgets submitted
- Support divisions to identify issues, risks and opportunities in forecasts
- Financial analysis to track trends, variances and cost implications
- Where required, offer training around financial policies, procedures and systems to non finance colleagues
Skills / Experience:
To be considered you will have the following attributes:
- CPA or CA qualified
- A minimum of 1 years post qualified experience in a commercial role with a focus on budgeting
- Previous experience supporting a non finance function
- Confident in report writing
- Commercial acumen
- Ideally Cognos knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and driven to achieve high results
