Job Description:
Role Purpose:
¿ To manage and drive business development from within Ireland¿s Leading International Business.
¿ To identify and be involved in the execution of sales opportunities across the full range of products.
¿ To identify and execute new lending opportunities, and actively drive income and cross sales growth, on a portfolio of existing Corporate Customers.
Roles / Responsibilities:
Principal Accountabilities:
¿ To identify sales opportunities for Corporate Banking products: Lending, Treasury, Payments & Cash Management, & Trade Finance.
¿ Compile credit proposals, manage the credit process, and manage the taking of security/ documentation of Loan Agreements.
¿ To identify and make successful cross sales across the range of products and geographies.
¿ To develop business profile in Ireland, through networking with Intermediaries, actively participating in Trade Associations and other leading international business orientated groups.
¿ Work with the team of Relationship Managers to mutually support acquisition of new business, and retention of existing customers.
¿ Effective management and leadership of staff, including recruitment, training, development, motivation and performance management.
Skills / Experience:
¿ A proven track record of successful client relationships with targeted Irish corporates.
¿ Minimum 6 years corporate banking experience.
¿ A graduate/post graduate in a Finance related discipline.
¿ Experience in credit analysis, documentation and due diligence involved in transaction completion.
¿ Ability to run with client relationships working with a range of product areas and having a clear understanding of the client needs.
¿ Proven ability to identify business opportunities for the Group.
¿ Good knowledge of client base demonstrated through sound business case/presentations.
¿ Demonstrable ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and an ability to work with others to create/implement client focused solutions.
¿ Understanding of varied product solutions required within the client base.
¿ Sound understanding of risk management and mitigation techniques.
