SAP Cost Accountant (International)

My client is an Irish multinational with operations overseas including North America.

Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cost Accountant (Must have SAP experience) to join the firm in Canada.

Roles / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for management of the costing cycle including daily product costing
• Analyses actual manufacturing costs to budgeted costs and explains variances.
• Analyses data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material
  purchases, inventory, and labour.
• Manufacturing variance review and absorption analysis including corrective action. Determines root cause of variances and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Analysis and update of allocated/redistributed costs
• Works with functional managers to understand changes in manufacturing methods and impact on costs.
• SOX testing and documentation and more

Skills / Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have strong product cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• You must have strong SAP implementation experience

Education / Professional Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
