Job Description:
A small but growing specialist insurer with a strong presence in the PI & D&O markets has an opening for a D&O/Financial Lines Underwriter.
This role would ideally suit an individual with established credentials in the D&O market and with the ability to develop and grow a book of business. The product lines involved include Directors & Officers, Financial Lines, Crime, Pension Trustee Liability and Fiduciary Guarantee and you should be familiar with all of these from an underwriting or broking perspective.
The ideal candidate is already operating within the D&O underwriting market, although candidates working in the D&O broking sector would be strongly considered.
You should be an ambitious, go getter, with the tenacity and patience required to go out and attract new business. This will be very much an external role and applicants must be prepared for hard graft but this will be recognised and rewarded financially.
An attractive base salary, bonus and benefits package will be offered to the successful applicant.
