Job Description:
Our client is a leading PLC with operations across Europe. Based in the UK they are currently seeking an Operational Controller across five of their manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Monthly Business Reporting Pack within agreed timetable, providing an explanation of the performance variances with the objective to help the Business Unit Director to define and implement the necessary corrective actions.
- Drive the margin improvement of the Division, through an accurate margin analysis by products. Help in defining the pricing strategy for the Division.
Elaboration of the yearly Budget and Forecast. - Support the Site Operations including Capital Investment control, operations reporting and inventory management.
- Project Pipeline Management through the Global system.
- Planning Support to the Business President (Swots, Photo-vision, 5 Year Plan).
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the Best Practice Process within the SCB Business Finance Team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
- Qualified Accountant, preferably Management Accountant (CIMA)
Experience:
Management accounting experience. Experience in an environment with strict deadlines.
Minimum number of years experience in similar position:Minimum 5 years experience in industry, in management accounting or similar business analyst role.Mobility
- Available for travelling up to 20% of the time.
- Available to assignment to other locations, within or out of the UK.
