Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate must take ownership of Controllership Functions, Including Staff Management, US GAAP, SEC Reporting, Irish Statutory Accounting, Reserves and Operational Processes including Cash, AP, and CPU Support.
The candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team of qualified & part qualified accountants, as well as process associates, including regular reviews, training plans, staff meetings, performance tracking, etc.
The ideal candidate must utilize network effectively, to achieve goals; disseminate knowledge throughout team to ensure an environment of constant learning.
The candidate should be confident enough to proactively manage all controllership processes and associated communication.
The candidate should be well capable of ensuring that adequate control exists by reviewing current systems and procedures & by reporting and following up on breaches.
The candidate should be competent enough to identify opportunities to improve profitability and enhance compliance; develop and implement strategies to execute.
The ideal candidate should be confident in order to liaise with CFO, SMT, and other departments to support business objectives. And also manage communication successfully
The candidate will be required to support the development & implementation of business initiatives taking account for both financial & operational implications.
The ideal candidate will be required to provide technical guidance where required, including areas outside of expertise which require research competently.
Providing leadership and support for all audits is an integral part of this role.
The candidate will be required to support CFO/CEO on ad hoc queries/request from Corporate/Business/HQ.
Key Requirements:
Ability to manage diverse team; previous management experience.
Understanding of financial processes including US GAAP, Irish STAT, and operational procedures.

Superb organizational and communication skills.
Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial / operational area.
Industry experience (banking, finance). In depth understanding of the regulatory & control framework.
Effective working knowledge of IT incl. MS.
