Job Description:
This position will report to the European Director of Finance. The key requirements will be;

The successful applicant will be responsible for: - - Leading and developing the Operational Accounting & Reporting team of 3- 7 people.
- Fully responsible for setting clear goals and objectives for team members, performing regular performance appraisals, and providing timely developmental feedback to each team member.
- Delivering, submitting and presenting timely, accurate financial results (including both internal and external reports) to help drive business results etc.
- Business partnering with the Operations Accounting Manager to deliver effective Strategic Plans, Annual Business Plans, and Quarterly Updates to Business Plan, for this facility as it develops and matures.
- Managing and controlling the approved capital project budgets effectively
- Providing timely budget updates, as required.
- Effectively business partnering with cross functional managers & Directors
- Leading Sarbanes Oxley Compliance effort within the Company.
- Responsibility for implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to ensure excellent Internal, and External Audit results.
- Leading Financial Audits ¿ main point of contact for Internal, and External Auditors.
- Leading cost improvement initiatives, to continually control the cost base of the facility.
- Other areas falling under the control
The minimum requirements for this position are:
- Recognised Accountancy qualification, preferably ACA.
- 6-10 years relevant experience in a Accounting / Finance Manager role, in a busy or growing multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong track record of effectively managing a Finance team, is essential.
- Experience of working with integrated business systems.
