Over 350 guests attended the annual Insurance Institute Charities Lunch, held at Dublin's Four Seasons Hotel on Friday March 12th 2010. Once again Premier was proud to be associated with this event and indeed this marked our fifth consecutive year of sponsorship. Our co-sponsors of the past two years - Lloyds, were also present and the event attracted record numbers, no doubt fueled by the general mood of optimism currently pervading the Insurance market. The outgoing President of the Insurance Institute, Deirdre Murphy kicked the event off by welcoming all those who attended, mentioned the work done by the Charities in Ireland over the past 12 months and thanked the various sponsors who had kindly donated gifts and prizes for the draw. She reserved a special mention for Premier who had sponsored a magnum of champagne on the day and duly thanked us for our continued presence as sponsors. The lucky winner was Carol Cummins of Zurich and she was warmly applauded on collecting her prize. Guest speakers on the day included Nick Starling - President of The Insurance Charities UK, Adrienne O'Sullivan & Marc Sweeney of the Irish Insurance Charities and Jarlath Regan who regaled his audience with his comedian routine post lunch. Andrea Clarkson - Premier's Financial Services Manager once again spoke eloquently on behalf of Premier and was delighted to reveal to all who attended that our Employment Monitor is showing continuing growth trends in job numbers. Another successful Charities Lunch has concluded for 2010 and Premier are already eagerly anticipating next years event.
