Household Claims Handler

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and setting up of new Household Claims
  • Processing of Travel Contribution and Personal Accident Claims 
  • Close coordination with the Claim Admittance area.
  • Payment of Property Claims to clients.
  • Ensuring any complaints are dealt with in an effective, professional and immediate manner.
  • Working on an individual basis and as part of a team and reporting to supervisor and manager on issues and progress.
  • Authorising Payments put through by Team
  • Monthly Diagnostic on other claim teams.
  • Implementing Lean Six Sigma training (Yellow Belts) into the team
  • Work with IT and Accenture, when implementing new systems,and providing relevant training in colleagues
  • Dealing with queries from the Customer Services and Sales Support Areas.
  • Work closely with Scalepoint Solutions
  • Communication with Loss Adjusters and mortgage providers on a daily basis
  • Investigate Fraud, by inputting data onto Special Investigations System
